The office nook!

Very very easy to do – I have thrown a whole bunch of pillows on the ground in front of the heating – a warm blanket, a light & a place for my tea & I’m off!

A very cosy reading nook.

Prrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Did you notice the books?  Not at first right?  Smoke & mirrors…this is really clever in my book. (pun intended!)

A great use of a mirror to maximise the light and view…check out AT for a few more mirror tricks of the trade.

I’m looking for shelving inspiration to fill our nook.

I think this is what we need.

more real spaces. this one by Jo from desiretoinspire

“I’m not finished … but this is the strange little space which is part entry hall/part useless area in my new old house. We only ever pass across it or turn to climb the stairs. With no money to spend I pasted up some old book pages and moved in some vintage furniture from other rooms.”

2 little things

  1. A good reminder to “shop our house”…move stuff around and play.
  2. …well, just start.

Oh, and I want to steal that chair.

My kinda cozy reading nook…

Got an odd space you don’t know what to do with?

How about a cool little desk nook?
