Love this pegboard in the current #insideoutmag. In the currently popular natural (ply)wood.

If you must have a desk in the bedroom – keep it simple and make it beautiful. Remember that it’ll be the first and last thing you see everyday. Actually, it’s important to remember that about everything in the bedroom! Now, this setup could almost convince me to add a desk!
A very easy way to add warmth to a too white/cold bathroom.
Nice styling by Alvem Makleri on what are normally fairly bland/boring shelves. The tricks in play are grouping of similar colours of books, varying the height along the shelves, a mix of textures and items to tantalise the eye (I’m starting to sound like Ms Ahern!) and a bit of negative (empty) space so each grouping/item can breathe. Oh – and hiding all the REALLY ugly stuff in cool boxes!

Clever furniture collection by Carlo Contin called “avvitamenti” that adjust to suit your requirements – tables, stools, lights and more. As seen on designboom.
Love love love this storage/planter/room divider DIY by the owners – the folk behind Vipp in their Copenhagen apartment as seen in the current Livingetc.
I can’t believe that Abigail Ahern’s bedroom used to look like this but it just goes to show you how our style evolves as we evolve. It’s perfectly normal and actually would be weird if it didn’t. Nothing wrong with this bedroom either though it might make her cringe these days! Interesting, huh?
Started with #desk #DIY in a corner to solve the problem of me working at the kitchen table. Still need to oil it & wanted hairpin legs but for now, good enough! xo tip
PS All you need is wood glue, 2 pieces of plywood cut to size & ikea desk legs.
